Nazareth House has served as a polling place for years for our local precincts. Election Day November 8, 2016 has seen a steady stream of voters, including our residents!

The famous annual fundraiser of the Nazareth House Auxiliary is back under a new name! Homemade sweets, canned goods and kitchen items are for sale on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 11-2. Arrive early for the tarts and scones! Nazareth House Auditorium, 245 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, CA.
Halloween is Coming to Nazareth House
From spooky ghosts to your favorite candy in our gift shop, all your Halloween needs can be met at Nazareth House. Volunteers open the gift shop daily, providing not only treats but personal care items, gifts, and a card for any occasion for $1.
Art is in the Air
Everyone is an artist at Nazareth House. Residents study watercolor with Marin artist Marilee Rogers and have produced stunning results. Their works are framed and hanging in the house for all to enjoy. Many try their hand at the latest fad – adult coloring – and find it both colorfully rewarding and relaxing.
Elder American Week at Nazareth House
Our celebration of this national recognition week August 22-26 2016 had something for every taste – Super Bingo, a concert pianist, a drumming session, a talent show, a pizza party and voting for Senior Superlatives!
Our resident gardeners
Our Care Center residents plant and tend tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, lettuce, kale, beans – a cornucopia of veggies planted in easy to reach beds.
Framed by rose plants, this lovely space within the Care Center is a favorite in our assisted living community.
Stop to smell the roses
We always stop to smell the roses here at Nazareth House. Our gardens include scores of roses in every color imaginable, blooming March to November. Begonias, hydrangeas, and impatiens fill in between, and lovely hanging baskets line the walkways.
Sister Cecilia plants tomatoes and peppers for all to enjoy in the kitchen’s summer salads. Assisted living residents sit out among the gardens year-round, or admire them from our many picture windows.
